IMPORTANT NOTES, RULES AND REGULATIONS

Progress Reports will be emailed by each individual teacher on Wednesday, July 20 and Report Cards will be distributed via email on Thursday, August 10.

New York State law permits no more than 3 absences in order to earn credit for a course.Every 3 occurrences a student is late, constitutes as an absence. If a student is absent from school, a parent or guardian must phone the school to explain the absence. The student must also report to the office with a note upon his or her return to school before being admitted to class.

Students are expected to dress neatly. Casual but appropriate attire is required. Shorts of an appropriate length are allowed for both boys and girls (nothing torn, cut or ripped). Students must wear collared shirts (Polos or Dress Shirts). Crew and mock turtlenecks are not considered to be collared shirts. Students are not permitted to wear gym shorts, tights, sweatpants, flip-flops, crocs or open sandals. Students are expected to report to school and leave the school in full compliance of the dress code.

Cell phones are not to be used at any time during class sessions. They are to be turned off and placed in cell phone pockets at the beginning of each class. Producing candid videos, candid photos or making phone calls is also prohibited. If seen or heard, they will be confiscated and will only be returned after serving detention.

Students are not permitted to bring food or drinks into the classroom or above the first floor of the building.

Students are expected to be courteous and respectful to teachers, school staff and fellow students, to keep up to date with their assignments, and to participate in their classes.

Any failure to comply with the above may result in the student serving detention or being expelled from the summer school.

Students will receive their individualized schedule at the time of registration.

Non-McClancy students will also receive a McClancy Gmail Account to be able to access all coursework. Check your inbox and junk filters for an email from G Suite Team.

All classes will be closed when filled. The school reserves the right to cancel any course herein listed for insufficient enrollment. In such event, all fees will be refunded in full.
