On Monday, September 30, Monsignor McClancy Memorial High School hosted a special mass for the Brothers of the Sacred Heart Foundation Day and Luis Alvarez. Alvarez, a Msgr. McClancy graduate, was a 9/11 first responder and a fighter. Unfortunately, he passed away this past June due to cancer, but he was a fighter until the very end. He stood with Jon Stewart on Capitol Hill advocating for additional funding for the 9/11 compensation fund.
