President’s Dinner 2025

On Saturday, April 26th The Cor Jesu Foundation Inc. in support of Monsignor McClancy High School held their 21st Annual President’s Dinner. School President, Nicholas Melito ’76 welcomed over 200 guests to the President’s Dinner at Russo’s On The Bay. This year’s recipients of the Cor Jesu Award were Frank P. Bruno ’70, Steven Casella ’81 and Brother Brian Curry S.C. The Cor Jesu Award is the highest honor that McClancy High School can bestow on one of its community members.
President, Nicholas Melito ’76 presented the McClancy President’s Leadership Award to Thomas Principe ‘65. The McClancy President’s Leadership Award is given to a person in recognition of their demonstrated leadership, character and moral and religious values which set a strong example for the members of the McClancy community. Tom has shown all of these characteristics throughout his life. From the ROTC to being a proud member of our School Board of Directors.
Senior, Keira Ross ’25 spoke about her experiences at McClancy High School as member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, as two-sport athlete in volleyball and softball and a 3-time City Champion for the volleyball team over the last four years.
The Class of 1975 celebrated their 50th Anniversary Reunion. Each graduate from the Class of 1975 received a commemorative golden diploma signed by Brother Robert Connolly S.C., President, Nicholas Melito and our Principal, Jim Castrataro to commemorate their 50th Anniversary graduating from Monsignor McClancy Memorial High School.
