Michael Hamilton ‘93

Michael Hamilton graduated from Monsignor McClancy Memorial High School in 1993 and has had a blessed life. During his time at McClancy, Michael won the Indoor CHSAA “City’ Championship in the 55m high hurdles and won again during the Outdoor CHSAA “City” Championships in the 110m high hurdles. He held the school record for the 110 high hurdles for 22 years. He is on Top 10 in 6 different events in school history.

After leaving McClancy, Michael went to Virginia Union University on a full track scholarship and participated in Track and Field and Football for the Panthers. Michael competed in the CIAA conference and was part of the bronze medal 4×1 team in the CIAA championships at St. Augustine (1994). After leaving Virginia Union, Michael desired to attend law school but pivoted to technology purely by accident.

Michael has had a fantastic career in technology sales and leadership for the last two-plus decades, mentoring young sales professionals in the Atlanta market. He’s held strategic roles for organizations such as Sprint/Comcast/Rackspace/NTT Ltd. Michael focuses on M&A activity for private equity and currently leads up the southeast for General Data Tech (GDT).

Michael lives in Atlanta, GA, with his fantastic wife Shai, Daughters Morgan and Mila, and Son Michael Jr.
