2017 Athletic Hall of Fame Inductee
Dave was born in Astoria, Queens, and attended Most Precious Blood grammar school. He graduated from Msgr. McClancy 1989 where he was a 4 year member of the Track and Field Team in the shot put and discus, was the Varsity Field Events Captain in his senior year. He was runner up at the Brooklyn-Queens Championships Discus as a Senior.
Dave returned to coach in 1992 and helped coached three City Championship teams as Field Events and strength coach.
He is a 20 year veteran of the NYPD working in Harlem. He is currently assigned to the Manhattan North Homicide Squad at the rank of Detective 2nd Grade.
