Anthony Iocco ’93

Soccer

Anthony was raised in Astoria, Queens where he attended St. Francis of Assisi Elementary School before enrolling in McClancy in the fall of 1989. During his time at McClancy, Anthony was a member of the varisty soccer team for four years and won two CHSAA City Championships. He was selected as McClancy Soccer MVP for the last three years of his career at the school, was named to the All-City Team twice, and was the CHSAA Senior All-Star Team captain.

Upon graduating from McClancy, Anthony received an athletic/academic scholarship to St. John’s University. Unfortunately, due to an injury, his soccer career ended in his freshman year. He continued his involvement in soccer by obtaining a United States Soccer Federation coaching license and coached youth teams in the New York area.

Anthony earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting at St. John’s in 1993. He began his work career as an Audit Associate at BDO Seidman, LLP. He is currently a Certified Public Accountant.
